Delete your data

You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you at any time, whether you use TextTheBible by text message, Telegram, Instagram, or Facebook Messenger.

What we store

• Your contact identifier on the channel you use (phone number or account ID), and your email if you joined.
• Your settings, such as your time zone and whether you receive a daily verse.
• The last few verses we sent you, so we don’t repeat them.
• Anonymous message statistics (topic and feeling labels). We never store the text of your messages.

How to request deletion

1. Email dan@verseful.co with the subject “Delete my TextTheBible data”.
2. Tell us how you use TextTheBible (for example your phone number, your email, or your Instagram, Telegram, or Facebook name) so we can find your records.
3. We’ll delete your data within 30 days and reply to confirm.

To stop messages without deleting your data, reply STOP on SMS, or simply stop messaging us on other channels. You can also remove TextTheBible’s access from your Facebook or Instagram settings under Apps and websites.
